Participation availability, registration and payment link will be made available the month prior to the workshop date. Workshops are $60 purchased individually, registration and payment due 10 days prior to workshop date.
Package pricing for all 6 workshops is $260.00 due by April 12 ( that’s $100 off regular price and also includes one complimentary pass into our Summer Solstice Distillation Workshop)
Workshops 1-6 will be held at InSync in Carbondale, unless otherwise indicated..
These workshops were designed to give participants a basic knowledge and understanding in the different types of solvents used in macerations. Through a basic understanding of the pillars of formulation, participants will gain confidence in creating their own formulations and preparations. Handouts, materials, resources and light refreshments provided, as well as sampling of our workshops topic.
Macerations 1: Alcohol/Ethanol as a Solvent Sunday April 26 2:00-5:00 pm
Macerations 2: Glycerin as a Solvent Sunday May 24 2:00-5:00 pm
Macerations 3: Water as a Solvent Friday June 19 6:00-8:30pm
*Macerations 4: Oil/Fats As a Solvent Sunday July 26 2:00-5:00pm
Macerations 5: Honey & Vinegar as a Solvent Sunday Aug16 2:00-5:00pm (National Honey bee day on 15th)
*Workshop 6: Butters, Balms & Salves Sunday Sept 27 2:00- 5:00 pm
*Workshop 6 requires workshop 4 as a pre-requisite, as participants will be decanting and using their infused oils to create a balms and salves.
